announces a vacancy for the position of Veterinarian.
Salary: $963.57
gross
Requirements:
*
Higher education in
Veterinary Medicine;
*
At least 3 years working
experience in relevant field;
*
Working experience in NGO is
a plus;
*
Good knowledge of animal
health and diseases;
*
Knowledge of English
Language;
*
Well developed computer
skills;
*
Ability to travel in the
regions (projects are region based);
*
Monitoring and reporting of
the ongoing projects to GRDP;
*
Strong commitment to team
work, motivation, hardworking, with a sense of responsibility;
Responsibilities:
*
Facilitating the
establishment and development of veterinary service centers on the basis of the
Ag tech colleges;
*
Providing systematic
theoretical and practical consulting to the veterinarian centers;
*
Providing technical
assistance to the veterinarian centers;
*
Selection of veterinarian
specialists;
*
Facilitating the integration
process with local government bodies;
*
Assisting the veterinary
service centers to link/coordinate their activities with regional and town level
national service departments;
*
Selection and preparation of
training audience;
*
Providing demonstration and
consulting to the vet specialists at the colleges, as well as local farmers
based on necessity;
*
Providing the recommendations
regarding provision of recent scientific methods in veterinary medicine;
*
Conducting monitoring of the
implementation process and providing evaluation to GRDP;
*
Elaborating and publishing of
the quarterly reports of veterinary service center activities;
*
Liaison with the
international veterinary coordinator of Colorado State University (CSU)/ United
States Department of Agriculture (USDA);
