Certified Program in Public Relations and Event Management
The
program aims to familiarize participants with main principles of public
relations and event management and train professional managers able to pursue
successful careers in the field.
Representatives of public as well as private or non-governmental sectors are
welcome to the program. The program will be especially interesting for
individuals whose job responsibilities include creation/development of
organization’s or product’s image or promotion of people, ideas, sites or
events.
Along with theoretical material the program comprises plethora of practical
assignments; in the final stage of the program students will plan and implement
a real event, what will assist them in reviewing the theoretical knowledge and
practical skills acquired during the studies.
Three best students of the program will be sent to take two-month internships in
public or private organizations of Georgia.
The program alumni wishing to apply to any of the master’s programs of the
School of Government will be granted special privileges.
The program consists of the following courses:
The
program is delivered in Georgian. Duration of the program is 4 months. The
program will start on October 29, 2009. Classes will be held 4 times a week,
from 18:30. The tuition fee is 1500 GEL. The fee must be paid before the start
of the studies.
