GIPA Tournament
On March 12, 2005, Zurab Jvania Georgian Institute
of Public Affairs initiated an open ski tournament in Gudauri ski resort.
The tournament was organized by the alumnae of the institute and widely
supported by the representatives of Georgian business sector such as
Insurance Company ALDAGI, Stock Company KAZBEGI, ltd SAMGORI and the café BATONEBI.

27 current students, alumnae and GIPA administrative staff, as well
as other invited guests participated in the tournament. The memorable
prizes were awarded to the first place winners, David Gomarteli, student
of the Diplomacy and National Security class 2005, and Nana Kldiashvili,
student of Tbilisi Akademiuri Secondary School, as well as the second
and third place winners among men ad women.

The institute expresses special thanks to all sponsors and guests for their
support and hopes that the initiative will assume the form of the annual
competition which will attract not only student of GIPA, but also every member
of Georgian and foreign society associated with the institute.
