The School of Government (SG)
is working towards advancing the academic process within its Georgian

language textbooks and reading materials is a serious impediment for maintaining
high-quality academic process. In order to make each class and course

Beyond introducing quality textbooks in the area of local government administration

capacity of reform implementation at the local level in Georgia through providing
local government and self-government leaders, administrators, and managers with
access to Georgian language literature/resources/guide, necessary for effective
decision-making, planning, and management procedures. This is why LGP places
electronic version of the book on the web (www.lgic.info)
to make the book accessible for all interested parties starting December, 2002.

following six articles / chapters on various subject matters related to

It is important to mention that five authors
among six are LGP faculty and staff. Specifically, the Editor and co-author

Local Government Center at GIPA.
