Introduction
The Master Program in Local Government Administration within the School of Government is a two-year intensive program that aims
to provide necessary theoretical knowledge and practical tools for
the current and future leaders of local government and self-government
throughout Georgia.
This Georgian language Local Government Administration program aims
to train and re-train current and future community leaders in order
to equip them with all necessary tools for efficient and effective
decision-making at the local level. Our target group is local government
and self-government representatives, local NGO leaders/staff, and
leaders of various community groups. The course includes four semesters.
The curriculum includes all fields and subjects necessary to strengthen
skills of local decision-maker. After successfully completing four-semester
course and a two-month internship students will be provided with
Masters Degree in Local Government Administration. Applicants are
required to have a University diploma or have completed at least
three years of University education, along with motivation to serve
in the filed of local governance and self-governance.
