Speak to voters

Name: Eka Gogichaishvili
Age: 23
Profession: Lawyer
Master student of Local Governance (2nd year) GIPA
Election number: 9

Dear friends, collagues and students of GIPA,

I have an honor to greet you as a 2nd year Local Governance master student of GIPA. On the 11th year of GIPA’s establishment, I have a chance to run in the elections of the Head of Tbilisi Municipality.

Today, like never before, there is a need for a competitive, impartial, energetic Mayor who will be elected directly by the people. Therefore, I consider it as my duty to follow Plato’s words: “…one of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors”.

Our city has to become an increasing regional entrance, a place of business and investment, cultural and historical center and a heart of democracy for the whole country. Welfare powerful governance can only become possible through your support and active participation. We cannot make any mistakes on the road towards happiness and prosperity of our city.

Sincerely,
Eka Gogichaishvili
